"It almost goes without saying that we should love generously, that we should love like Jesus," says Mike Scheuchzer of Mercy Me. "But does it? Does hearing it make it real? It’s so easy for us to live in our own little self-absorbed bubbles. We forget that above anything else we are called to love our neighbours, to reach out, to engage even the unlovable around us. It’s not an option if we really want to be like Christ.

"'City on our Knees' is really about a moment," says Toby. "A moment that we all come together to a place where there’s no judgment, but really love. And we choose to recognize one God together. And it’s really a reminder that that moment could be right now, tonight. And in that moment judgment falls by the wayside, we choose to step across the line, whatever side we’re on. Love fills in the cracks and makes up the difference."

Vicky has released two critically acclaimed CDs: Yesterday Today and Forever (2005) and Painting The Invisible (2007). Vicky also wrote and performed songs on the Vineyard releases Hungry, Holy, Surrender and Best of Vineyard and was later associated with Soul Survivor in London, contributing to their People’s Album and Live Worship 2005.

During this time she led worship alongside Matt Redman, Tim Hughes and Brenton Brown. Since 2004 Vicky has been based in San Diego, USA, but has frequently returned to the UK to lead worship at churches and events. She will be leading worship on the main stage at Spring Harvest 2010 (Minehead).
